Watermelon Refresher

Get through the hot weather with this hydrating watermelon refresher. A hint of mint and a tincture of ginger adds a perfect cooling flavour. How much cooler can this drink get?

Watermelon is made up of 92% water. It is a natural diuretic that helps the liver and kidneys in getting rid of ammonia. It is full of Vitamin A, B6, C, Amino Acids, and antioxidants that contribute to healthy skin. Watermelon juice helps relieve muscle soreness after a workout and cuts down on cramps at the gym. It also helps speed up the recovery time of wounds.

INGREDIENTS
  • A quarter of a large Watermelon peeled and cut into large pieces

  • 1/2 inch cube of peeled Ginger

  • 2-3 small Mint Leaves

  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice (optional and/or adjust amount as per your taste)

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Place all ingredients in Juicer.

  • Blend ingredients together

  • Enjoy!

NOTES
  • Have it fresh to maximise nutritional value.
